Q: I am having a problem getting bras to fit me correctly. I am a preschool teacher and as I bend over and become active in my day, I fall out in the front. Do I need a larger cup size? Can I get a professional fitting if I go into Soma? Do I need an appointment?
A: Thank you for your question. It sounds like you are wearing either the wrong bra size or the wrong style for your body shape. You most likely need a full coverage bra, which covers up to 1” more of the breast. This may help prevent the fall out issues you are having during your busy days. A favorite of Soma’s Fit & Style Expert Jessica Wells, the Vanishing Back Full Coverage Bra provides supreme comfort and is now available in sizes up to DDD:

We’ve shed our springtime layers and we’re ready for the season’s hottest trend: NUDES! Skin-toned bras and panties have long served dutifully as the must-haves underneath summertime’s whites, lights and breezy fabrics. But this season, nudes are an art form all their own. Color and trend experts agree—now is the time to celebrate the beauty of nudes!
Though the lingerie industry has been developing nude-hued undergarments for decades, the resurgence of boudoir-inspired runway designs and the uprising of boudoir portraiture have made the idea of nude fashion-forward once again. Even nude colors are couture. Soma’s light nude is a lovely shade of pale with an ever-so-slight hint of pink blush. The new toffee is a rich bronze-brown, whereas our new latte leans toward taupe-brown. The beauty of it all? You can match your skin tone or you can choose a shade that contrasts beautifully against your skin.
Soma now offers nudes to complement every
skin tone-eight in all-including mochaccino (a customer favorite!), featured here
on the Full Coverage Rachel Bra and Embraceable™ Boyshort.

During the month of May, Soma is partnering with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, a leading charity that brings lifesaving research, cutting-edge equipment and specialized care to kids in need. We are so moved by their mission that we’re offering three amazing ways you can help us help kids:
1. Help us send 50,000 smiles. You can create a unique card (it’s free!) and we will print and send it on your behalf to a child in treatment at your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. We will also donate $1 for every card created, up to $50,000—so share the link with your friends and create yours now!
2. Donate to make a difference. Every dollar helps make miracles happen. You can give directly to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at soma.com and Soma boutiques.
3. A charming way to help. Starting May 14th, when you purchase the limited edition 2012 Creating Miracles Charm Bracelet in boutiques or soma.com for $20, $10 will benefit your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
Join us this month in supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals—because May is for Miracles!
