Dear Jessica,
I have a very full breast at the bottom but am not so full at the top. I usually wear a non- padded bra because they tend to fit to my shape better. However, I do like a little padding, like what’s found with a T-shirt bra, to cover the nipple area better. I am wondering if the camisole bra would be a good fit. I like the idea of material to cover the middle of the chest for low V-neck shirts. Thank you for your time.
Terri

Dear Terri,
Thanks for your question! It sounds like you have what are called “teardrop” shaped breasts, which means you’re fuller in the lower half of your breast. Women who are teardrop shaped may think that the empty space at the top of the bra is a sign that the bra is too big so they’ll go down a cup size, which often results in wearing a bra that’s too small. Instead, the solution may be to make sure you’re wearing the right style. Lower-cut balconette and demi bras are great for teardrop shaped breasts. They’re specially designed to cover and lift the lower half, which is the fullest part for teardrop shapes. And yes, the Cami bra, under lower cut tops and dresses, should work well for you, too.

You could also try Soma’s Cover Alls Petals which comfortably stick to your skin for extra concealment. Gel Cover Alls can be used with unlined bras and even swimsuits if you don’t plan on spending time in the water.

Best,
Jessica
